Review -Dark Waters

Review -Dark Waters by Shannon Mayer
Dark Waters (Celtic Legacy Book 1)
Quinn has always looked after her sister Ashling. Their mother their only known parent, has always strangely favoured Quinn and all but ignored Ashling. When Ashling graduates school, Quinn offers her a trip and Ashling wants to go to the sea and learn to surf. Even though Quinn is terrified of the sea( having been attacked by something when she was younger in the water) she agrees to make her sister happy to go to the ocean side. There her sister is snatched in the water and she learns her mother has been to by the same creatures she is just learning about. Quinn does everything in her power to save them but will it be enough?
This story is a mixture of Celtic legends myths and good old fashion storytelling. The writer makes you care deeply about the characters and the sisters bonds. I enjoyed reading the engrossing tale and look forward to the sequel to see what will happen next
